The Queen Anne’s County Department of Emergency Services is excited to announce an upcoming Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training course at the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in Centreville! The class will be divided into four training days over the course of two back-to-back weekends (April 27 & 28 and May 4 & 5) from 1-6 PM. Attendance of all four sessions will be required for course completion. To ensure adequate resources and an effective learning experience for all, this offering is capped at 20 students.
There are no prerequisites to attend the training aside from a willingness to learn and participate. We welcome those of any age and any ability to join, along with members of the community who live outside of Queen Anne’s County. For those unable to attend but wishing to participate in future training, please complete the registration form and instead select the Waitlist checkbox. The Registration Form can be accessed by scanning the flyer’s QR code or by visiting https://www.qac.org/FormCenter/Online-Forms-5/Queen-Annes-County-Community-Emergency-R-49.
